Computer Science and Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in 1997. The department offers four year B.Tech course and two year M.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering. The department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of computer hardware and software with emphasis on practical learning. It strives to instill entrepreneurship among students and organizes soft skill development programs to hone the communication skills of students. Technical events like seminars, workshop, guest lectures, faculty development program and symposium are conducted every year for the benefit of staff and students. The department has signed MOU with organizations like IBM, ICT academy, etc to promote industry-institute interaction. The CSE department is recognized as a research centre by Annamalai University, Chidambaram.

Programme Outcome
